Many Poker Games

So many poker games exist and they all involve different strategies, styles and variations. But the most popular is Texas Hold’em. This game can be played with a limit or no limit and each one can be played differently. Omaha Hold’em is similar to Texas only with more community cards.

Then there is Pineapple Holdem or also known as Crazy Pineapple. This one is kind of half of Texas and half of Omaha. In this game though, players have to discard one of their three cards. Stud poker has various differences. This is the typical game that is played in casinos and Seven Card Stud High-Low is the more tournament card game. Draw Poker is the most basic of all poker games. Almost everyone knows of Five Card Draw although it is hardly ever seen in casinos any longer.
In Lowball, aces play low and the lowest hand wins. One variation is Deuce to Seven Draw and here straights and flushes do count. Razz is also known as Seven Card Stud lowball. This type of poker game is seldom seen in tournaments.
